Jean Anne Rogers 161/13 kV Substation

Allen & Hoshall provided design, equipment procurement and construction administration for this new 161/13 kV Substation. The Jean Anne Rogers Substation located on Southeast Broad Street was required to serve the new Amazon facility and system growth in the area.

The substation design included a TVA 161 kV strain bus. The 13 kV switchgear houses all protective relaying for the substation, AC/DC load centers, and seven 13 kV breakers.

• 13 kV Metal Clad Switchgear with 3000 Amp Main Bus, 1200 Amp Transfer Bus, and Seven Power Circuit Breakers
• 6 – 13 kV, 1200A Feeder Power Circuit Breaker
• 1- 13 kV, 2000A Bus Tie Circuit Breaker
• Oil Containment System
• 6 – 13 kV Underground Exits
