Lafayette’s Music Room Patio Renovation

Allen & Hoshall provided architectural and engineering services for the renovation of the Lafayette’s Music Room at Overton Square.  The owners wanted to improve the functionality and connectivity of the patio area.

The first step was to perform a structural analysis to determine the impact of removing part of the external wall.   Based on the analysis, a large section of the wall was removed on the lower level to create room for a 17-foot, full service, double-sided bar.  A large rolling door was installed to divide the bar for security and during inclement weather.  The door features a clear section to improve visibility for pedestrians.
